How Pasabuy works
A marketplace where every step is clear — and you always know what happens next.
1. Post
Customers post a Padala (what, how heavy, route, dates, fee). Travelers post a trip (route, date, free kilos, rate). Providers post a Pabili service.
2. Match
Travelers make offers on Padala requests, or customers send a structured request to a traveler or Pabili provider. There is no chat — every proposal is structured.
3. Verify
When an offer is accepted a transaction is created. Both sides review each other’s verification badges and confirm.
4. Handover
The customer hands the package over in person. The traveler inspects it against its declaration and confirms they have it.
5. Pay
Payment is due once the traveler has the package: the traveler fee plus the Pasabuy service fee, with proof. The traveler confirms receipt — or can skip waiting and collect it later.
6. Track
The traveler marks In Transit, Arrived and On Delivery. Anyone with the tracking code can follow safe, public status updates.
7. Deliver
The traveler confirms the package was handed to the receiver. The customer confirms completion (payment must be confirmed first).
8. Review
Both sides leave a Verified Transaction Review. Positive reviews can be featured as testimonials.
Three ways to use Pasabuy
One account can have any mix of these.
Padala
Customer
“I already have this item. I need it sent Bangkok → Manila.”
Pasabuy
Traveler
“I’m flying Bangkok → Manila and have 20 kg free.”
Pabili
Buyer / service provider
“Tell me what you want from Thailand. I’ll buy it and ship it through cargo.”
How a Pabili order works
- Customer sends a Pabili order: exact items, or a budget and a “looking for” note
- The provider shops and adds items; for a shopping request the customer approves or declines each one
- The provider requests payment — down payment, partial payments and the balance are all recorded
- The provider buys the items and marks them purchased
- The order is shipped by cargo with a carrier and tracking number
- Delivered → completed once the balance is fully paid
Verification & safety
Trust is built from visible, honest signals — not labels.
Email & phone
Confirmed for every active member.
Government ID
Verified, submitted or not submitted. Numbers are never displayed.
Pasabuy Verified
Optional extra level reviewed by Pasabuy.
Mutual confirmation
Both sides must confirm each other in every transaction.
FAQ
No. Padala customers, travelers and Pabili providers work directly with each other. Admin verification is an optional extra level of trust (Pasabuy Verified).
Not in V1. Proposals, verification, payments and handover are all structured steps, and important events show up as notifications.
Only verification status, ratings and route information. Phone numbers, ID numbers and private addresses are never public — contact details appear only to connections or inside an active transaction, depending on each member's settings.
Payments are manual (cash, bank transfer, PromptPay, GCash, Maya) with proof of payment. No payment gateway is connected yet.
